Whats the difference between SCSI hdd and SATA hdd?
i want to know which 1 is the Fastest among the 2 and is the cables used for both type of hdd the same when connecting to the motherboard?
The cables and setup are completely different. I'm not sure which one is faster, but I don't think there's much of a difference. Since you don't already know the difference between the two, I'd highly recommend you stick to SATA because SCSI is definitely the more complicated of the two. Unless you're putting it into a server, SATA is more reusable as well because personal machines don't really use SCSI unless they're custom built that way by the owner
