How can I change my network adapter's speed?
I have an intel D945GCL board with builtinn Network Adapter....It is installed as a client of a LAN but today when I switch it on it is showing speed of 10Mbps instead of 100Mbps and it is also accessing the network resources....Can someone help me out with this and if it is problem from server than what it is...I also use the server..I am the Network Administrator all other settings are correct..can anyone please help me out quick............
You have to go the
Device Manager
(Start->Control Panel--> Device Manager)
Once u got Device Manager Open
Go to Network Adapters
Choose ur ethernet Controller(double Click)
Go to the Advance tab
Look for the Value--> Link Speed/duplex/Media State
Put it to Auto Negotiation or the value u desire.
