Why can I suddenly not watch videos I receive on emails through Windows Media Player?

Out of the blue, I could no longer watch videos through WMP. It says that it cannot play the file and there may be a server connection problem but that is not the case. I can save videos and then watch them through WMP, but I cannot open the video right from the email.

That's because when you opening it from the Email, your connecting to that users computer to watch the video, and if they aren't in their E-Mail service anymore, then it can't connect to the local host. Just downloading them and saving then on your personal PC will make it work fine.
