Disk Sunblade
Is a SUN Blade 2000 with 2 x 750 MHz CPU/2 gigs of RAM a quick machine?
I do not know a lot about Sun Machinces but I really want one for some basic tasks such as web server, and compiling JAVA and C, plus just some basic programing. Can someone look at this ebay item and tell me if its pretty quick for the price?

It is a decent deal for the price, but Sun Machines makes BAD computers. I would reccomend buying a mid-range Dell. They have very good customer support and are generally reliable. You don't need a high performance machine to do the stuff you're talking about. I would reccomend getting a large/fast hard drive and a good network card if you are planning on functioning as a web server. Also, buy a decent NAS external hard drive and back up important data onto it.
