For vacation rentals, however, there are no set meal times and you can pretty much do what you like, when you want to. There are no long queues for the buffet or no rush at breakfast times.

Furthermore, it would be a more peaceful holiday without the hustle and bustle of holiday makers. You can enjoy the serenity of being close to nature, or if it's a hill resort the cool air or if it's the beach, the sun and sand. Although there are many perks, it is also important that one pays extra attention to one's safety whereas in the hotel, there may be hotel personnel to look over the safety of the guests.
