Asus Servers
network connection geting reset between novell3.12 and windows xp pro?
i am using novell 3.12 server
and one of my node(amd athlon 2ghs on asus mother board) runs on windows xp pro
my business software is clipper based
but i face a proplem while taking backup on this machine from my server the connection between the two gets reset after 3 minutes or 5 minutes or sometimes even 10 minutes and this happens while taking backup only does this require any patches or any settings in the configration. this problem does not occure on the node where i have installed windows 98.
On the XP machine, disable TCP/IP and install IPX/SPX. The TCP/IP implementation of NetWare 3.12 was buggy, at best.
